Michelle DunnMichelle M. Dunn, M&AMI, CBI, BCB, LREA is a Managing Partner of Gateway Mergers & Acquisitions.  She is one of 23 people in the state of Texas designated a Merger & Acquisition Master Intermediary (M&A MI) awarded by M & A Source.  She is also a Certified Business Intermediary (CBI), a designation awarded by the International Business Brokers Association, a Board Certified Broker (BCB), a designation awarded by the Texas Association of Business Brokers, as well as a  Licensed Real Estate Agent (LREA) with the Texas Real Estate Commission.   After Michelle and her partner sold all 7 locations of their business operation in 1999 she entered the business brokerage profession.  Michelle has been repeatedly recognized for achieving the highest levels of success; she is a recipient of the President’s Award 8 years running.  Michelle consistently delivers the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality to our clients. Her mastery of the process minimizes the time and stress typically experienced in negotiating the transfer of ownership of privately-held businesses.  Michelle holds a position on the Board of the Texas Association of Business Brokers and serves on committees for the International Business Brokers Association.

Scott PerryScott Perry, CBI, LREB, BCB is a Managing Partner of Gateway Mergers & Acquisitions.  He is a Certified Business Intermediary (CBI), a designation awarded by the International Business Brokers Association, a Licensed Real Estate Broker (LREB) with the Texas Real Estate Commission, and a Board Certified Broker (BCB) a designation awarded by the Texas Association of Business Brokers.   Scott has been a full time business broker since he sold his first business in 2002.  He writes and speaks frequently on topics important to business owners.  Scott has an extensive experience selling medium sized businesses in the manufacturing, distribution, food service and many other business segments.  He is very active in the community serving on the board for several non-profit organizations. He teaches classes and volunteers his time and talents in such organizations as Boy Scouts and Toastmasters. With this experience, Scott will be a great asset helping you sell or buy a business successfully.

Ken SchwarzKen Schwarz, MEE, LREA is a Business Intermediary with extensive experience in managing technology based companies.  He has been particularly successful running privately held enterprises, developing strategic alliances and building joint ventures both domestically and internationally.  Ken acquired an electrical supply company in 1993; after expanding the business operations to become a significant regional supplier the company was acquired in 2001.  Previously, Ken served as president of an electronic company and chairman of another. Concurrently, he was vice chairman of joint ventures in Russia and Bahrain. Ken has a Masters Degree in electrical engineering from the University of Iowa and an under graduate degree in electrical engineering from Iowa State University. He also completed the executive management program at the Kellogg Business School. Ken joined the organization in 2003.  Ken has significant experience in selling medium sized businesses, which include manufacturing, contracting distribution, service and entities from numerous other industries.  Ken is a Licensed Real Estate Agent (LREA) with the Texas Real Estate Commission.

Trista PerotTrista Perot, CBI, BCB, LREA is a Business Intermediary with 17 years professional experience in Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations.  Trista is a Certified Business Intermediary (CBI), a designation awarded by the International Business Brokers Association, a Board Certified Broker (BCB), a designation awarded by the Texas Association of Business Brokers, as well as a  Licensed Real Estate Agent (LREA) with the Texas Real Estate Commission.  Trista Perot has been a business broker in the Dallas/Fort Worth marketplace for 9 years. Ms. Perot’s vast experience runs the gamut from manufacturing, retail, government, medical and more. Her widespread understanding of how to position businesses to succeed in their marketplace gives a competitive advantage to our clients when marketing a business to prospective buyers/customers. She is active in a number of business-related associations including International Business Brokers Association, Texas Association of Business Brokers and the Junior League of Dallas. She is a previous President of DFW American Marketing Association, and has served on the board of directors for the Dallas Zoological Society, DFW Interactive Marketing Association and The 500, Inc. Ms. Perot has 2 master’s degrees from Louisiana State University, one in Marketing and one in Mass Communications. Her undergraduate degree is in Journalism from Ohio University.

Cheryl HayesCheryl Hayes is a new associate broker with 14 years of entrepreneurial experience.  Her most recent enterprise was a Child Care Center she acquired and increased revenue by 80%.  After four years of success Cheryl decided it was the right time to sell her business. She now blends her experiences to assist others in making the important decision to sell a business.  She skillfully guides owners through the many choices to be made between the initial decision to sell and the final close of a transaction.  Through her professional career she has gained significant experience in selling small-medium sized businesses and has a unique knowledge of North Texas business owners and buyers.   She has found success as a highly motivated individual with a passion for exceeding customer expectations.  Cheryl graduated from the McCombs Business School at the University of Texas with Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and has attained Child Development Associate Credentials.

Deanna JonesDeanna Jones is Office Manager She administers the daily operations for Gateway Mergers and Acquisitions.  Deanna brings over 20 years of expirience in Client Relations and Sales Staff Management. She enjoyed a rewarding career supporting both the local police and fire departments for over 10 years.  Deanna’s focus is on the growth and maintenance of our extensive contact management database of Buyers, Prospects, business owners and professional contacts.  She also handles all web-based advertising.  Deanna is a highly valued member of the Gateway Mergers and Acquisitions team.
